New Homes
The project consisted of a new stone and slate-roofed residence on an island off Darien overlooking Long Island Sound. Several existing barn structures were also restored on the five-acre property. This award winning home was featured on the cover of the Perfect Home Series book published October 2006 and was a finalist in the AIA CT Alice Washburn Awards competition.

The project consisted of the design, detailing and construction of a new residence for a private client in the historic district of Ridgefield, Connecticut, on a street of early 20th century 'Summer Homes'. The residence was conceived of as a Shingle Style Revival structure with a prominent entry porch in keeping with both our and the client’s desire for a home that would feel immediately at one with it’s neighbors both in scale and character. AIA Connecticut Alice Washburn Awards Finalist.

This new colonial revival waterfront home is nestled into a steeply-sloping shorefront site overlooking an inlet of Long Island Sound. The front facade was inspired by the Samuel Parrish house of 1889 by the firm of McKim, Mead and White Architects in Southampton, NY.

This new 10,000 sf home on private cul de sac in Darien has a triple gabled facade which fronts onto the street and behind it an ell that extends into the rear yard. The ell contains the kitchen, breakfast & family room which overlooks an elevated east facing stone terrace. The house is served by a geothermal HVAC system which runs off six wells drilled adjacent to the structure and the entire envelope of the house is insulated with a sprayed in place bio foam product. The home was completed in 2011.
